      <title>Duplicate TJ MAXX Syncrhony account showing on my Experian Report</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi All!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I signed up for a Synchrony Bank TJ Maxx Platinum Mastercard in March of 2019. A few months ago I realized that my Experian credit report shows the account listed twice. The first account listed shows the up to date info as of February 2020 but the second account shows the last payment info as of April 2019 (2 months after opened) with the old credit limit. I disputed twice in Experian and the account was verified. I called Experian to put in a third dispute in over the phone and it appears the dispute completed today and simply updated this duplicate account to match the other account. Now it shows exactly the same information (which is up to date and accurate). I called Syncrhony to confirm this info and they advised they only see one account under my name.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I do have my wife and son as additional cardholders but I don't think that should show up as a second account on my credit report. Anyone have some advice or experience with a similar situation? I assume this is reducing the age of my credit because it shows I have two 1 year old accounts instead of one.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Sometimes when you have reported something wrong with the physical card the creditor has issued the creditor will close out the card and re-issue the card to you.&amp;nbsp; When this happen's it automatically closes the account and reopens and you the consumer dont it.&amp;nbsp; I would contact SYNC back and ask them if they closed or reissued an account because they are reporting the information twice.&amp;nbsp; you can also dispute the account that is no longer reporting as a duplicate account to the current account from the same creditor.&amp;nbsp; I hope that helps&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thanks elle527.&amp;nbsp; I just got off the phone with Sync and they advised they do not have any record of a second card nor account. They said it sounds like a experian's issue and to discuss with them again. I have disputed this account 3 times already. Anyone have any other ideas?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
