So I think I am out of the water on a Chapter 13 that I filed 2.5 years ago (i'm hoping they let me pay it off early w/ out any snags). I was told the discharge should take about a month. The big questions I have now is how long after it is discharged should I wait to get copies of my credit report (and expect to see the changes that should come about from the discharge)? Should I do it right a way, disputing the stuff quick, and send my proof. I have seen tha some people on here have had incorrect info years after their discharge and they end up having to dispute it in the long run. OR should I wait a few months and delay the possibility of still having to dispute things and then have it take longer. Also how long shoudl I wait to order my scores? Sould I just check it after I see my reports have changed? monitor it for 6 months?
