Wells Fargo - Delay in Reporting to Bureaus

When I log in to my Credit Karma, I see the last update of my WF CC on 3/6.

I have daily updates in CK, Wells Fargo seems to have delayed reporting balances in April.

Has anyone noticed this.

My auto loan hasn't updated sine Feb. This is on CK, WH and EX report.

Seem's to be some issues with WF reporting right now. You are not the only one experiencing this.

I've only had that problem this last cycle with a not well known credit union who normally reports around the 5th which reported timely with EQ & TU but extremely late for the 1st time with EX, the 21st. I have 3 credit lines with WF and all reported timely for March. Will see for April which the 1st should start reporting around the 25th/26th.

I assume some of the missed updates reported by many in March may have something to do with the current health crisis, not sure. But this is not the 1st or 3rd thread I've heard about WF not updating.

Hope no apps are depending on this and it has time to update eventually.... Good Luck!

March wasn't a problem. Last reported March 8th. Won't be surprised if it's not updated for a few months.

Yes, same here! My Propel and Visa Signature card's always report the last day of the month but as of 5/6/20 they still haven't reported my April payments.

I called Wells Fargo this morning to inquire about this assuming it was related to the current pandemic. They confirmed with me that their staffing levels have been decreased. As a result the department who's job it is to update the credit bureaus are short staffed and are behind.

I always assumed that our updates were done automatically and by a software program. They said they have to be manually updated. They couldn't tell me when to expect the information to be updated but apologized and said hopefully it won't be too much longer!

Thanks for making the call as I was dreading holding forever to ask this question. I have 2 accounts I'm waiting for that should have reported around the 26th & 29th.

I should call to tell them I'm waiting for their update as I need my report updated before I apply for another product with them. Now I'm BS'ing but hoping they'd want the business and get to moving. But I doubt that they'd care about lil' ol' me

The last time my WF CC was updated was 03/01/20 .They did not report my April's billing cycle.I'm kind of bumb out about it because i've paid down a sizeable amout in march.My fico score should be easily over 715 right now so its currently hurting my utilization.

I feel your pain! When I got this card I opened it with a balance transfer. I finally made a huge payment to pay the transfer off in April. First time having 0 utilization on all my cards in over 10 years. I was so excited and looking forward to this month's report but they didn't update Fico yet so the update to my report still hasn't taken place!

😂😂😂 You're welcome! I had been waiting patiently, ok I'm fooling no one, impatiently since 4/30 for them to update Fico. I hope this doesn't take too long. I'm also waiting on the update so I can apply for a card limit increase and possibly a new card.

TU is still slow to show up though

Wow! You just taught me something. I didn't know that if I waited later in the month to pull my 3B report that the information would be different. I always pull mine at the beginning of the month. Didn't know if I'm expecting changes I could wait on the changes to pull the report and have them on there. Thank you for this tip!

Wow!!! I just got a MyFico notification and it was Equifax reporting my Wells Fargo April Payment and Balance now being credited and updated as $0. I officially have 0% utilization! 1 down , 2 reports to go! 😄

Well Shazam! Just received a MF alert for one of my WF revolvers reporting to EQ. What great timing. I guess they let the dogs out today.

Yes, @Jordan23ww , my subscription provides my reports on the 2nd. But the last 2 accounts usually report between the 5th - 9th. EX always reports everything first (except this month) and I hold off to pull my CK info to verify those last accounts reported, then I pull my 3B around this time. No matter when I pull it is always available as of the 2nd.

Now with my EX subscription, if I hold off from the day my 3B is available, it will always reset to 30 days from the date pulled. I try to pull that one around the 3rd after all my revolvers report so I can isolate the effects of those balance changes. Then pull MyFICO after my installments report and everything is up to date.

As always stated and absolutely makes sense, "finance over fico". But I assume you know all revolvers reporting $0 will cause a score drop.
