Just pulled my credit report. I paid off all my collections but when you click on collections it shows the accounts and paid. Why would it me moved to accounts now because they are not a collection Item anymore. thanks tc

all baddies stay on CR for 7 - 7.5 years. Even if paid.

Try sending a GW to them

Okay thanks for the info I will mail those out. Iam hoping to be in the 700 or 800 one day

Take you time writing those GW letters and put alot of thought into them. If you fell on hard times, explain it. This is no time for foolish pride. You don't have to sit at dinner with these people, just have them understand what caused these problems and basically beg for them to work with you. I am happy to say that i am now 3 for 3 with GW letters. I have posted a copy of my GW letter that i used with minor changes for all three, and I got my guide from another thread on this site. Wishing you good luck, and remember to be patient. One on mine just went through yesterday, after about a month or two.
