Transunion drops when mortgage posts

Every month my transunion score drops when my mortgage payment is posted. It recovers a few points every week or so only to do it all over again the next month.

Any ideas as to why?

Hello @Anonymous, welcome to the forums.

Are you seeing the same effects on the other CRAs? Which version of your TU score are you referencing? What other tradelines do you have? It would help knowing more about your profile to be able to determine the plausible reasons for the score fluctuations. Things like the age of your mortgage, your AAoA, etc.

It only occurs on my transunion fico 8 is the one I track.

The mortgage is 15 years old. Average age is just under 5 years. 31% usage on credit cards no recent derogatory though a decade ago the mortgage fell behind during a divorce
