Did anyone else get an invite from PNC to complete surveys and group discussions about the BBVA merger and future PNC products? It seems like it was more directed at me as a BBVA customer, rather than already being with PNC.

Yes, I also got an email invitation yesterday afternoon. No idea what criteria they may have used to want to extend me that invitation.

I went ahead and did the survey to get into the discussion groups. I'm hoping maybe PNC will drop some hints as to what their intentions are with Clearpoints and other BBVA card products.

Yep, I received it too. Will carve out some time over the next few days to take the survey. Also hoping to glean insight into the upcoming changes. Bus Dev & Mktg teams usually play a key role in these types of focus groups.

Talked to BBVA credit department a few weeks ago and it seems to be brutal on the inside for BBVA, constant changes, no set policy or SOPs. Having a history in mergers and acquisitions, some nice and others not so nice, it's to be expected. It also seems PNC is not yet ready for prime time, hence this initiative; which in all honesty is a bit late in the timeline. It may take longer than the projected October 2021 to complete the transition. I guess we are now in a perpetual state of - TBD!

I don't see this as PNC looking to solicit feedback specifically on issues of interest tied to the integration process, rather that the process is far enough along that PNC was able to mine the BBVA customer list and identify those that are most likely and/or they want to a) continue long-term as a PNC customer when the merger has completed, and b) are both willing and able to provide meaningful participation in their online community.

Other FIs have similar programs, I know for example that several members here participate in the USBank program which is reasonably active.
