Blocked Chase Preapproval??

Hi Forum!

I am experiencing an issue trying to get preapproved offers from all of Chase products. I have went to the subscribe/unsubscribe website to make sure I am subscribed and my credit reports are not frozen, so I am not sure what is going on??!! It keeps telling me they can't access my credit report. I applied for a Chase card back in July and was denied because of my BK-Ch 7 from 2012, so I'm not sure why they can't access my report for pre -approvals?? Anyone else had this experience and what did you do to correct it?

Easy, you are not getting preapproval because you have a BK on your reports therefore you will not be preapproved/approved for Chase cards.

Has nothing to do with opting in/out or anything else about your reports.

Hello dragontears. That's what I thought too, (which BK-7 drops off in Jan' 22 btw.), but when it comes back, it says "we can't preapprove you for any offers at this time, because we can not access your credit report. It may be because you have unsubscribed to preapproval offers from Chase or it's affiliates." Then it gives a link to subscribe to receive preapproval offers. That is the reason I even mentioned that, it's because that's what it said for not being able to do a preapproval offer.

Did you include any Chase accounts in your BK?

Nope. Never had anything from Chase or their affiliates. I only had one credit card account in my BK and it was an affiliate with Barclay.

Same happens to me since I used Optoutprescreen; I did change it to accept credit offers and have received some, but not from Chase and when I go to the prequal offers it shows the same thing. I also would like to know how to fix this.
