Affinity FCU - How long did it take your new credit cards to report?

When you applied for a new card, how long did it take to report?

Also, do they have any specific nuances such as Chase or US Bank? Does the statement close on unique dates or do they always report on the same day every month? What about when you pay off the card? Does Affinity update it to zero? Are there any other specific Affinity items to be aware of?

I don't know most of your questions. The new account didn't alert DWs Chase credit journey. It did pop up on her credit report but I don't know how long that took to show. I do know DWs card opened 8/6, but the statement closed 8/31 and it's due 9/25. We didn't request that, it's just what happened. Congrats on the new card!

It only took 1 month for me. Approved 5/3 and reported to all 3 CRA's by 6/3. Statement cuts on 1st of each month.

Thank you both.

In my case, the total time from approval to reporting was ~2 weeks. Approved around the 20th of last month, and it's now showing on EX and TU. Hasn't hit EQ yet.

Acquired an Affinity card last month.

Hit EX and TU 1-Nov, give or take.

Does Affinity not report to Equifax?

I have also got an affinity card last month and never paid close attention until I saw this post. Even mine did not report to EQ

Affinity reports to all 3, so it may just be delayed from AFCU themselves or just EQ. My EQ report that I pulled from CK yesterday doesn't have AFCU updated for November yet... last AFCU update on EQ was 10/1.

My eq report is also dated 10/1/21 for affinity
