Credit Cards you can get wit itin / Tax id - Update 2022

Hello ,

I just want to let you know what credit cards I do have with no ssn and just with tax id / itin.

I have been building credit for around 3 years now and the following cards are the ones that I do have right now and were approved in the order on the list.

Annual Incoime : $54k

Credit Score Jan. 2022 : 691

Credit Utilization: 32%

June 2019 - Capital One Secured Card: (Got it unsecured early 2021) CL 3500.00 - Applied Online

Jan 2021 Early - Capital One Quicksilver One: CL 3500.00 - Applied Online

May 2021 Early - Bank of America Cash Rewards: 3000.00 - Applied in Branch. (First I opened a checking account. Deposited a bit more than 10k) and apply for credit card one week later.

Sept 2021 - Capital One SavorOne: CL 5000.00 Applied Online

Jan 2022 - American Express Gold : No preset limit. Applied online (call to verify my personal information)

Jan 2022 - Apple Card: CL 4000.00 Applied online (Not on iphone. On their website)

Jan 2022 - Petal Card: CL 1250.00 Applied Online

Jan 2022 - Chase Freedom Unlimited: CL 2500.00 Applied Online

For people who are in the process of getting a ssn you can still apply for certain credit cards with your tax id / itin.

Sometime you will not get approve instantly online so you will have to call the credit card company in order to check what extra documents you need to send in order for them to approve you. I am not saying that you "will" get approved. But you can take your chances.

My next goal cards are the following:

American Express Platinum - Using Amex Gold for now since I just got it.

Amazon Prime Credit Card

Bofa Americard

Chase Sapphire Preferred

This is my first post ever. Trying to give a little more updated information regarding credit cards with itin.

If you guys know any other credit cards that you can get with tax id /itin please leave in comments.

Canadian here.

I only 1 US card from RBC which was opened in 2013. CL 13K

Started to get in the US credit card game this year by getting ITIN in Feb 2022

1. Amex Blue preffered 5k -> 8k JAN 2022

2. Capital One QS 8K -> 12k MAY 2022

3. Chase Sapphire Preffered 18k -> 23k JUN 2022

4. Citi premier 11k OCT 2022

5. Chase Sapphire limited 18 k Oct 2022

@Anonymous the underwriting is the same on both the gold and platinum cards. You *may* be able to do a product change. Give em a call.
