Help understanding reporting cycle on Apple card

Hi all. Working on paying down my credit card debt and making deliberately larger payments. I have a question that I guess is between payment date, statement date, and myfico alert dates.

I made a payment on my Apple card on 3/14 for $900. That payment is due on the last day of the month, so the payment was early. Myfico alerts come to me on the 19th of each month. Myfico alerted me on 3/19 and my reported balance did not reflect that $900 payment that was made on 3/14. Any ideas?

Your balace at the end of the month on your apple card (Statement date) is what gets reported to the credit bureaus.

In addition to the first reply, Apple / GS is pretty slow to report. So whatever your balance is on 3/31 will eventually be reflected around the third week of April. Hopefully that's before 4/19 so you can see it on your next MyFICO report.

Good to know as I'm a new Apple Card / GS holder. I'll just be sure to have a very low or $0 balance at the end of every month.

Yeah, I pay it to $0 before the end of each month. It has very unreliable reporting where some people mention it not updating for months sometimes. So it's not great for your AZEO card.
