Chase monthly SPs?

Just got my annual free credit reports.... Noticed on Experian Chase is soft pulling me every month. I have a long standing relationship with them, a nice chunk of assets with JPM, never even come close to my limit, and PIF monthly with no out of pattern spend. Just curious if anyone else here has experienced that. Hope this is the correct forum, Mods.

I don't even have a Discover card and they SP my report weekly. Chase SP'd my credit on the first of every month the whole time I had a card with them like clockwork. As far as I can tell most lenders SP a report from time to time. It's normal.

LOL @Lou-natic One of the benefits of freezing my reports is I dont get 6 solicitation mailers a month from Discover. Or more.

Sure is isnt the Credit journey SP for experian vantage score? likely that along with some AR's every few months if not going crazy applying for credit or giving them a reason to SP you alot

Fantastic point, @CreditCuriosity I have no hps on the cr. I never even thought of that (Vantage) as I don't use it. Thanks for the insight!

Barclay's and Cap 1 is every month. More if you open any new accounts or an inquiry pops up. Credit unions for me virtually never.

I applied for and received the CFU last month and Chase has been SP'ing me weekly since. I'm definitely on their watch list! Also, I've had the SWRR card for 6.5 years.

Wow... @Gidgetmom weekly? That's a bit ocd. Those guys are nuts tho. I love their cards, but they're crazy sometimes.

Right!?! I'm back in the garden after my auto refi and the CFU. Chase is one bear I don't want to poke!

Yea, Chase has a tendency to keep a close eye on you for a few months after an approval.
