@RobynJ @wingennis penfed is always behind when it comes to my fico 9 - by the time they release my score has changed , navy fed also gives u the same fico 9 , but more recent i.e. penfed from 6/30 reported 7/22 , navy fed from 7/12 posted 7.13

After reading some articles here I went to check my Fico scores on Penfed site and noticed the last pull was from June 30 2022. I paid off my car note back in feb 2022, so only credit product I have is the Cloc (fyi)

I have never seen five months in between FICO updates. Every three months like clockwork has been my experience for several years. That being said, I just logged in to check and it seems my last update was four months ago...

I have heard others report inconsistencies.

Hmm, I have a few active accounts with PenFed (Home, Car, and CC) and my last score update was 6-30 also. I hope they are not retiring that benefit.

Dude, I haven't been able to get my credit score from Penfed since June of 2020... literally. I guess it doesn't matter since I can get it anytime from MyFico, but still.. very weird. I guess I'm choosing my battles and that's not one I'd like to think about... at all 🤣

I guess it's normal for them to be woefully out of date. Mine is more than 3 1/2 months old.

I'll be honest, I was concerned at first but every time I need them they are on it so I guess no harm no foul. They do HP me for every request however, so I don't know if that's abnormal or not.

@805orbust I agree. PenFed has been stellar. I have two auto loans, my mortgage, HELOC, three high limit credit cards and personal checking with overdraft LOC. PenFed has NEVER let me down. Not once. I can be flexible with any delays to my free FICO. If too many months go by without an update I'll just give them a ring. They tend to be pretty transparent and informative.

I've noticed that it always seems to be an old score when I check it there. Interesting that everyone's scores seem to have updated on 6/30. I just checked and that's what mine says. I guess they update everyone all at once, and whenever they get around to it.

@wingennis Has your Penfed fico score tool updated? Mine still shows the June 30th score that was updated 712/22...UGH!! I want to see their score now that my BK has fallen off EQU....

I decided to call Penfed about this. The rep that I spoke with asked a supervisor about the update on the fico scoring tool and he stated it's done quarterly...So Jan, April, July, October, so maybe an update will come mid November...
