CC reporting negative balance

If my CC reports a credit for overpayment. So instead of a balance of $0 it will report -$20?

Is this bad?

I guess it will mess up my AZEO

I frequently carry a credit balance, and not once have I seen it report as anything other than zero.

What I meant is this, I PIF every month, but I ended up returning a product after my PIF date. The price of the product, is now showing as a negative balance on my Credit card balance.

Yes...that is one of the reasons someone might have a credit balance. Another might be if you overpay your credit card bill. Again, I have never seen a cc company report a CREDIT BALANCE (a balance they owe to you) on the credit report.

Credit balances are not reported to the CRAs. The account will simply report as a $0 balance as long as the credit balance remains on the account. Only balances in the positive are reported. Therefore, no adverse effects to worry about.

I think it would just show as 0 on report. I have these overpayment balances all the time cuz of a returned item or something. I just then simply use it as a credit.
