US Bank didn't report last month?

Going down my list of payments to make today and opened up my USBank Platinum card. No balance but I notice that FICO did not report any updates since Nov 2022. So it looks like I still have a balance on there... Anyone else notice the same? Never had that happen before, although have seen my share of stupidity from cc issuers of course. ;-)

Yes, every time if last businesses day falls on Friday and/or holiday, reporting is delayed by a few days. I know other lenders aren't like that, US Bank is.

They will report tonight, CRAs will update at different days/times. You should see it reflected on all three by the 8th.

Thanks @Remedios that is wacky. And even weirder that it's consistent. I was starting to think it was me, but of course I'm beginning to get numb to glitches since 2020. Much appreciated. I'll check in a few days and report back.

Seems another poster answered the question.

The reporting is the same for US Bank and Elan (have both).

As to your being "whacky" ... that is another question for the Smorgasboard?

Referencing delayed reporting if that is even what it is, FNBO is variable by many days, Chase reports every time there is a payment (I believe) and so on with every FI their may be uniquenesses and amazingly, all this has virtually no real effect on our credit lives

🤣🤣🤣 @Anonymous it isn't even a question anymore, we can all assume I'm wacky!

I thought something was off because I had never heard of that happening before. Then there was the Comenity non-reporting issue and I haven't had a score generated by Penfed since 2020 so I thought it was yet another glitch. Glad to discover that fact for sure.

Chase reports statement balance shortly after statement cuts but also reports whenever you pay the balance down to zero.

(If you always PIF, I suppose it looks like they report every payment.)

@805orbust US Bank and Elan reported in Experian today January 5, 2023. The reporting date says December 30, 2022.

They're not the only ones, aside from them, and as mentioned, Chase, I was approved for an Amex BCP in mid November, used the card, got a statement mid Dec, PIF, continue to use the card but still nothing on any CRA. I've also noticed with other open accounts I have (Disco, Cap 1 Spark, Cap 1 Auto, Sofi), they don't all report to all 3 CRAs every month, some will be on just EX, others just on EX and TU, then a couple of months later, those missing months are on all 3.

With a new Amex account, it's quite common for it to not report until the second statement.

Both of my US Bank cards reported today with a date of December 30th (the last business day of the month).

Thanks for the info! I checked this morning that only TU report updated with the May balance, but the other two bureau are not updated yet. Do you know when will the other two be updated?

Interesting ... US Bank has only reported on the banking reserve lines and not the credit products as of right now. Truth, I find this happens often with US Bank. Note, usually the credit reports first.

It's pretty annoying because I don't know when the other two reports will be updated and I need at least two reports to update to see higher mortgage FICO. Do you know when the other two reports be updated if TU already updates?

@Sarah0708 This thread is from January 2023. The datapoints that people provided had to do with December 2022 data. May 2024 info should be posting any day now.
