What credit bureaus does NavyFed pull from?

Recently got on with navy fed and was preapproved for all their cards.. Wanted to see what bureaus they pull from before I apply.

current cards are Amex gold, chase freedom unlimited and venture one capitol.

Generally Trans Union for their credit cards

Accord to wallet hub generally TU, but they could pull from any of the three. So if you wondering which CRA to unfreeze I would do them all.

Also their card prequalifier is not very accurate, I would just apply,

probably not the Flagship for the first card,

as I have seen many denial's for that as a first card. (of course a couple outlier's)

You are probably good for any of the others.

Yeah I was interested in applying for the NFCU more rewards Amex card as my first.

Usually TU as mentioned above. Also the prequalify is notoriously unreliable, but if you have a good report/score, you should still be approved for the MoreRewards. Good luck.

A relative joined Navy this week and applied for the secured card. Navy pulled EX and TU. The relative was told all first cards would be a double credit pull and subsequent cards would be single pulls.

@SweetCreditObsession I got an YMMV scenario if they double pulling for new credit cards. I apped yesterday and they only pulled TU (I don't know what model yet).

Could be because I had a pre-approval letter?

For me they only pulled Transunion.

It's possible, @Iusedtolurk. They're nw to Navy and apped for secured at time of sign up. No pre-approval for them so their situation definitely varied from yours.

I'm glad you only experienced a single pull.
