Jovia Financial Credit Union HP or SP?

I've been thinking of opening up accounts at Jovia. When opening up the initial savings/checking accounts, is it a HP or SP to join? I plan on applying for the Advantage credit card but wanted to wait until I know that I am approved for membership first. I really hate it when I don't qualify for a membership and I burn a HP for it. Thanks!

unless something has changed farily recently, joining Jovia with checking/savings should still a credit SP

HP on chex and they are fairly chex sensitive, so if your chex is recently active, you'll likely be denied.

there's also a $150 checking bonus for $500 direct deposit/online banking/estatements that's worth going for IMO

I believe it's soft pull for membership. I joined 4 1/2 years ago, and my practice is not to apply to a credit unions that have HP for membership.

I applied for the credit card and personal loan through them and was approved for both. HP for those and they opened the savings account when it was approved.

Make sure your reports are frozen. Then, it's a sp, or no dice.
