paying credit card after fraud alert?

the upcoming due date for my card is 9/25. however, there was just a fraud alert on my card. am i still able to pay the old card number after being issued a new card number? thanks

A new card number doesn't mean a new account. Just go in and pay as you usually would.

online via credit union but they're a tad slow with bill pay.

Yes you can. Continue your payment as before unless you think the balance is not valid then just pay the minimum requirement till they fix it.

You certainly don't want to miss a payment due to dispute or etc.

Yes. However, you may want to review recent charges before paying in full.

Typically your old card will still work as well (if physically present) until the replacement card is activated. However, it will be blocked to prevent use if not present.

Side note: Old card transactions will migrate to the replacement card #. If you log into your account with your user name and password, the new card number should come up. Change your pwd and user name asap.
