Amex Rakuten

last year I was approved for this account but since 1/1/2026 hasn't been updated don't understand what's the point of a statement

this account not on my equifax report either anyone else ?

It looks like the card is issued by First Electronic Bank, I think bureau reporting is up to them.

I have the aven visa card, issued by Coastal Community Bank. They don't report to TransUnion.

I just recently got mine in December. It does NOT report to Equifax but it is on Experian and Transunion. Just like you I had a statement balance in December which I paid in full in January. It's now March and my zero balance still hasn't been updated on any bureau.

Additional data points: I've had the Turkish Airlines card issued by Imprint/FEB since August 2024. They report to all 3, but reporting seems to be semi-regular. My latest data:

EQ: Dec 15, 2025
TU: Jan 14, 2026
EX: Jan 14, 2026

Every month from account opening up to the reporting dates is reported.

Side note: this delayed reporting caused me to miss my Path to Apple Card goals last year. I have not been able to trigger another invite (or approval) since then.

Funny how some of these cards report selectively, but if you defaulted on one of them, you better believe that they would report to all three immediately

My Eddie Bauer Mastercard is from Imprint. It reports to all three beureaus.

I don't know how quickly it reports. I've never had an issue that drew my attention to it.

@fullstackdev glad to see someone else who holds this card cos it seems to be less popular. I was also approved for the Miles & Smiles card, how has your experience been so far and how quickly are earned miles posted to your TK portal? Also, within the past few days I noticed in the Imprint app that the card art/image has been blank, are you also experiencing the same or is it just me? Still waiting on the physical card to be delivered but I already hit the $2k SUB the same day I was approved.

@pip3man I like the card and use it on and off. I received my metal card pretty quickly after approval. I don't open the app too often, so I haven't noticed any issues recently.

My miles post to the portal pretty soon after the billing period in which they're earned. At least I haven't noticed any significant delay. But I'm saving my miles to flee the country this summer before things get too bad, so I don't watch them too closely.

Niceee, I'm pretty sure the metal card was a limited edition for the launch cos I tried to apply back then and was denied. I'm likely gonna be getting a plastic one lol. We share the same sentiment as far as jetting off the country when things gets pretty bad. I have my airline miles, locked and loaded lol.

I do not understand the issue. Lenders are not required to report to every bureau. Imprint likes to only report to Experian and TransUnion. As for reporting they only have to do it in a reasonable amount of time not to exceed 60 days. This is because it takes 60 days to do the dispute investigation. There is no point in disputing something that you know will update before the process completes.

Remember February is 28 days. Also January is loaded with holidays. I would not be concerned unless an update does not get entered by the end of March. How wrong is the current status compared to what is on the record?

Imprint decided to finally report my Rakuten card to EQ this month... but they reported the same balance from January that's still appearing at TU and EX.

I'm having the same issue. They haven't sent a credit bureau update since January. Their customer service is absolutely horrendous. I have called multiple times and the agents (and supervisors) just do not get what I'm asking.

Did you get anywhere with your CFPB complaint? Can't wait to close this card as soon as the welcome bonus hits my bank account. Definitely not worth the hassle.

It's now April and my balance from December has still not been updated with the credit bureaus. Also my Rakuten card just reported to Equifax and sure enough with the same balance from Dec. Saying that I'm pissed off is an understatement.

all my credit card report every 30 days, but this one crazy ....

I disputed the information with the CRAs. TU and EQ came back saying the information is valid despite me providing a detailed explanation of the issue and a copy of my statement. EX is still underway.

It's like the blind leading the blind out there. Really seems like such a simple thing to correct, but I guess not.
