HELP THE KID OUT!!!!

I'm hoping the Guru's of this forum can help. I got an unauthorized hard pull from Dell Financial and I was to sent Tusc's Non Auth Inq Letter but they will only disclose a P.O. Box. I need a physical address so I can get a signature and green card back. Any ideas?

Worst case scenario I will fax them but I want the return receipt so I have something to hold up in court.

I don't think anything will hold up in court. I know they told you wrong when they said they would only do a soft INQ, but they did get your permission to look at your credit. Even if not I think if you have an account with them they can do hard pulls without your permission. <----at least thats what I have heard. It may be easier to call back explain you didn't want a hard pull and ask them to remove the INQ.

Which CRA is reporting the inq?

I tried calling them but they said they can't do anything about it and advised me to dispute it wih the CRA they pulled from Experian.

You can CMRRR to a P.O. Box.

My experience with Ex is that they not only want your SSN, but also a copy of a current utility bill and copy of your Driver's license or they will send a letter back saying that they could not identify you with the submitted info and ignore your request.

Disputing inquiries is one area I have had no luck with at all. I sent 4 letters out certified mail, included SS#, all that stuff, and so far I've gotten two rejections. So I hope you have better luck.

If you don't get them removed--don't worry. They hardly count for anything.
