Yeah!! JC Penney GW worked!!!!

JC Penney sent me a wonderful letter today letting me know that they have reported to all credit agencies-including Innovis??-to delete all derogatory info from my files pertaining to my account. In it, they "apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused" me. Isn't that great?!! Sigh...I wish Apollo Credit or LVNV were even 1/4 that nice. Don't give up if you're sending out GW's-I almost did. Waiting on responses from a second round that I sent out. Thank you to Tuscani, Noah, and all the others that post all the helpful info that you do.

I sent 1 to JC Penney about a month ago...was surprised to get this from them today after all the no's that I've received. Also today, I called Household Bank and got a $200 CLI after I was told that I wasn't eligible for an increase last week, so today's events have me so pumped to continue on with my plans to join that 700 club before no time!

I used a Citibank GW that's posted here on this site as my base (one the ctjulie used)-I just plugged in the info from my own circumstance. Here's the addy I used:

Yes, Tuscani...a special thanks to you. I've learned so much from your posts-most importantly, not to give up. Today I received a positive answer to my GW request to Gateway (5 lates removed) and a $100 increase from Orchard. I'm really psyched! I can't wait to pull my scores in about a month!
