Reopen AmEx Optima?

I had an AmEx Optima that I finally paid off back in 2002 after it was closed. They are currently reporting me as a positive TL with no lates. I would love the get back into the good graces of AmEx, but I don't think the Opitma program applies to me. Has anyone out there had a TL restored with AmEx w/o going through the Optima program?

The Oasis Program with AMEX is for people that want to get back in their good graces. If you paid your card off, I would apply. **bleep** geneerally give you 1/2 of your old balance. Search this site for their phone number.
