Who has experience doing a PFD?

I have a medical bill in collections from 2004. It is $801 total. I am now in a position to pay it, however the CA has not been "knocking." Should I wait until they contact me, or should I send them a PFD letter right away? I need to get this taken care of as we are looking to purchase a home in Spring. Also, what reason would a OC or CA have not to accept a PFD? They are getting their money, it's a win win for both parties. I would go to extent to literally photograph the cash and say "you can have this if, and only if, you delete all record of this from all 3 CRA...

Who is reporting it on you CR....the OC or a CA???

Send a PFD letter to whomever is reporting.

The CA is the one reporting, if it makes a difference the company is a small one I think. It's Central Professional Credit Service out of Cadillac, MI. The most recent letter I have from them is Oct. 19, 2005 although I've moved twice since then so maybe they can't find me??
