Scores Increased!!

July scores were TU 522, EQ 491 and Ex 472. Today my scores are TU 579, EQ 577 and Ex 591.

I have about $49k in student loans and three bad credit cards. I have paid off the cards and now when I use them, I pay online before I even see the bill. I had a tax lien which was filed July 1997 which I have gotten removed. I had a collection account removed. I had a judgment filed May 2004 which was removed from Equifax and Experian when I disputed it. TransUnion did not remove it so I am disputing again. I can see 600 clearly from where I am.

Thanks to all for the good advice! My next step is goodwill letters to get lates removed.

WTG!!! Your scores are starting to resemble each other instead of 50 points apart when you started in July - good work, you're an inspiration to us all.

wtgggggggggggggggggggg.

With TU.......I disputed a foreclosure 2 times with them.....the 2nd one they verified in 3 days........I had to send them a MOV.........you might also.

My husband and I are mid/high 500's. Was wondering if would pe possible to reach 620 by spring. Was thinking no, but you gave me hope! We'll see.

Good luck increasing your score. I never thought mine would go up that much that fast. Now I just have to try goodwill letters to see if I can get it higher. For the first time in my life, I feel like I am in control of my credit and my money.

Thanks. I sent them another dispute but maybe I will try the MOV. I really thought I was stuck with the judgment for a few more years because it is mine but if two have dropped it there is hope the third will drop it too.

You mentioned that you received the Charge-Off, what was the Procedure for that?

And does anyone know if multiple disputing of the same TL over successive months works to get a derog removed?
