Hello ,I've been reading the forum for a few weeks ,but this is my first post.

Here's my deal.I pull my report fron EQ almost daily and it is PERFECT ,I stress perfect because I couldnt write a better one myself.Heres the problem,I have a Fico score of 582!Ib elieve I have 2 credit reports out there. There are some negatives missing from my report.

My Ex and Tu reports seem correct and their scores both are in 680'S.I talked to my banker who is a friend and is familiar with my situation he pulled a report and got a different report, although many of the same accts are on both reports.

Also ,I have scorewatch from Eq and in August,07 my score went from the aforementioned 582 to 787 overnight and you guessed it ,a week later went back to 582 where it remains.

I dont think there is fraud or anything involved ,I think maybe I have 2 reports.Has anyone else experienced this ?If so what did you do and what was the outcome?

Thanks in advance for your help.

yes I have the same product as you and have went the through the same thing over and over. Actually this weekend matter of fact. My score was a 633 then all of a sudden it went to a 687 overnight. Then this weekend it went back to a 633 overnight for no reason, because there was no change in anything on my report. But this has happened several times. I have spoken to people and they always say its because of a dispute you have done. But there were times that I have had no disputes and it would do the same thing or there were times that I did have disputes and it did not effect the score. So I really can't explain it. I actually think its a flaw in the credit watch product. I would suggest whenever its starts to do the jump to just go to myfico and get an accurate score.

Message Edited by curve401 on 09-16-2007 08:35 AM

I have seen this mentioned on other posts, and you can almost feel people shudder.

On my (doubtless temporary) TrueCredit reports, one of my tradelines is reported by TU and EX on one blob and by EQ on a second. The TU/EX blob has all the 30 days posted, and the EQ is blank, although all the info at the top (dates, $$$, etc) match.

Is this a split file? If so, what do I do about it? If it's not, is it something I need to call TC about? Since it's just a monitoring service, I wouldn't think it would matter. I just look at the TC scores and chuckle and go on. thanks

What will happen to my score when and if they ever get it straight? The problem is when you apply for credit, you dont know which report they will get.It looks like the Fico people are getting a different report than I am.If they sent them the report Im getting I believe the "787" score would be right.

I get two differant reports from EQ depending on the time of the month. Chase had the suffix in my name wrong and EQ started a file for that name, and held one for my actual name. If I pull my report after one of my TL's with the correct name reports everything is right, if I pull it after Chase reports I get a totally differant report. I fixed it with chase but still waiting for all the info to update.

Before Chase reports my FICO= EQ 685

After Chase reports my FICO= EQ 575 (not enough history, only one TL reported)

Your CR becomes so big (usually because of so many soft inquiries) they split your file. Sometimes you can have multiple FICO scores because of it. You may have 20 TL's in good standing and 1 TL in bad standing, but when your file gets split. One file could be those 20 TL's that are in good shape and the other could be the 1 TL that's in bad shape....So you may really have a 700 FICO because of all of your positive TL's but you could have another fico of 550 because of that file with the one bad TL.

You can get them merged back into one, but sometimes the CRA's are slow to do it, or you get a CSR who's never seen it before.

FYI.. Soft Inqs are not the only cause for split files.. Usually a slight variation of the name or address on either data input or credit reporting, in addition to multitudinous soft inquiries can cause a CR to split.

Tuscani, about how many softies is multitudinous? Can this happen from daily pulling?

Not sure. I have a very thick file and have been pulling daily for years without issue.
