There's a thread or two about that here. Short version, if you never got the summons you can file with the court I forget what you call it, but you can get the judgement set aside if you were never properly served. That doesn't get you out of the fire though, it just resets the process. If that's been done you can fight it, offer a settlement, do whatever as if you had gotten the summons. When I was looking it up I just googled it- "civil judgements." "Removing Judgements," Vacating Judgements"

I'd do my research, but you're probably going to need a credit lawyer, check out this thread- http://ficoforums.myfico.com/fico/board/message?board.id=generalcredit&message.id=12167

I am looking to buy a house here in the near future and I have just recently pulled my credit reports after I was told by my mortgage lender that there is a judgement on my reports. I am thinking back to when this was filed and I do not recall being served with a notice. At the time this was filed I was not living at the address that the creditor would have had, I moved 2 months before it was filed. My question is, how can I go about getting this removed from my credit reports?

Thanks
