HELLO EVERYBODY, today I received a response to my gw letter nco has agreed to delete two paid collections from my cr. I am happy happy happy one down four to go .

How did you do it???

I have been sending out letters to nco just to remove one old $40 account and they refused!!

Where did you send out the letters?, was it a generic letter from this forum?

try this address 507prudential road horsham pa 19044 phone 1-866-305-9426 It took about sixty days but well worth it.In my letter I just stated both collections have been paid I am current with no lates for the last three years,trying to improve credit,I now understand the importance of my credit rating.

Okay can you paste a copy of the GW ltr you received, I just got a response from an email I sent the CEO. The ltr was from Lisa Signore, it just stated they will report to the CRA the current information which is paid.

Who did your letter come from??

theres a post for nco. i think you should try again and email them again. I believe the person who you should email,name was mikebarrist@ncogroup.com

Nah I emailed him and got a letter back from Ms Signore simply stating that the acount would be reported paid.

Strange company. I sent my letter in December and got a reply in May from Dave Teklits saying they're deleting the 2 chargeoffs but one was never reported. It was charged off without me even knowing because GEICO was slow to pay my hospital bills and I guess he took that into consideration.

Here's the problem.
It's almost October and it's still on my Transunion.
I've disputed it for the past 4 months and it keeps coming back as verified and no change.

finally managed to have nco delete a paid collection from my credit report took about 6 months but got email address for company attorney explained that they were violating fcra regulations with DOLA or dofd they were reporting collection from the dtae that they aquired the account was paid prior to them taking over the account she lol stated they would delete the account as a one time courtsey to me how Nice to get the email just go to BBB website type in NCO and will give you link straight to her email was a lot of work but well worth it now I have no collections reporting

Thank You so much for the info. I emailed mikebarrist@ncogroup.com and told him that I was trying to get a $40 medical collection off my credit reports. I told him that I had talked to his people and agreed to pay the $40 for a PFD. Once they refused, I asked if they were actually in the business to collect money or do they just get thrills by screwing up peoples credit. I just looked today and it has been deleted off all my reports without me even having to pay the $40. AMAZING!! I also got a 24 point jump on my EX, a 12 point jump on my EQ and a 4 point jump on my TU.

I used mike.barrist@ncogroup.com and lisa.signore@ncogroup.com with much success.

Both were received and the service from Lisa Signore was timely and professional.

Not to mention that this experience provided a terrific start to looking for an algorithm that's proved successful for "getting to" people who actually have the power to make things happen.

It is normal for them to have 2 email addy for work they put that . in there
