I recently purchased the Suze Orman kit to view all three of my crecit reports. I am incredibly satisfied with the reports, and the ease at which I can view them, as well as all of the helpful information. Personally, I have a few accounts that have gone into collections. On all 3 of my reports, they list the name of the collection, or a code for it, and the amount. No where can I find the contact information. Can anyone offer help?

I want to be able to pay off these old debts, but have no idea who I can contact to do this. I have moved several times for work, so I no longer receive statements in the mail, and am a little lost on how to start fixing this. Thanks!

Message Edited by tapdogg17 on 10-08-2007 08:47 AM

I suggest going to annualcreditreport.com and pulling your free copies for the year. often times the reports that come directly from the CRA have more detailed info in them. for instance, TU and EX will tell you when each account is due to drop from your report, but MyFico doesn't. I bet you will find the info you're looking for on the reports that come directly from the source.
