So as you can see from the scores below there is a lot of variance. TU is the only CRA that actually has reported all of my account info. EX and EQ on the other hand are missing a great deal of payment history etc.

is it worth it to ask them to fix this? I mean in the account summary sections it looks like they have the open date, balances, and CL parts correct just the payment histories are showing as unknown.

PS how long before inquires stop being counted? is it one year or two? EQ has 6 inquires because creditors hit them twice for some reason.

TIA

OK, first the mandatory sermon about FAKO vs FIKO scores: you really don't know what you're working with until you have a set of your real scores. Some actions that help your FAKO's hurt your FICO's, and vice versa. My FAKO's are EQ 721 - TU 660 - EX 648. See my sig line below to see how crazy that is. Even the PFICO is probably different from the underlying classic TU FICO. If you can afford it, it's worth a one-time splurge to know where you're starting from. Be sure to Google FICO discount code or FICO promo code for savings. You'll find at least 10% off.

*Surprise, just noticed that they have renamed and consolidated a lot of the products here! Looks like if you pull all three, you will be using something now called FICO® Credit Complete.* So you may not find a coupon for this exact name.

Inqs: they show for 24 months, and they are counted for 12 months, but they count a little less between 7 and 12 months.

Missing account info: it's hard to tell what is not showing from your post. I have TrueCredit, and Equifax doesn't display the line of green squares, only the yellows, alas. But the data is actually there, and when I click "More about this account", it shows the dates of the most recent updates. EX and TU show the actual dates; EQ just shows month/ year. (TC and EQ have Issues.) I do have one account that only EX is displaying as current, so I did a dispute from the FICO reports to ask that they report. I just printed them out, so we'll see how it goes.

edit: this was replying to busywoman.

I bet it will. The two falling off completely won't change your scores--they will just stop alarming future lenders. But you'll get something from the 2 going over one year, and the 1 going over 6 months. You ought to be having some VERY cool score bumps when everything finally hits!

The other weird thing about inqs is that, as best as I can tell, each score only counts the hard inqs done on its CRA. I have a total of 4 active inqs, but EQ only counts 2, EX only counts 1, and TU only counts 1. So if you really, really have to apply for something, and you know which report it pulls, you can see how many inqs they will see.

Message Edited by haulingthescoreup on 10-28-2007 09:13 AM

Just so you're aware that you shouldn't consider the scores and ESPECIALLY the advice that comes with them when you're making decisions. The credit reports are all you really need until you know that it's time to apply for something. And really, since you seem to have stable credit histories and good payment patterns, you'll probably be OK. Good idea to pull FICO's 6 months before a mortgage, but otherwise in your case, it would mainly be for curiosity's sake.

It has been over 30 years since I've been there, but I still remember the open-air markets with the unset jewels and raw Thai silk... Don't know if that's still going on, but if I can ever find a city with canals, I'm moving! I cringe when I read about the sex trade and HIV rates and all, but Bangkok is still one of my favorite cities.
