Hooray for GW

At the beginning of October I sent out several GW letters. I was beginning to think I would get no response. I checked my EX report today to see on an item I have been disputing to see one of my letters has paid off. Applied bank or Cross Country Bank as it was when I had my account removed a paid CO from 2002 from all three reports. I am stoked my EQ score jumped 20 pts. Lovely Capitol one also sent me a letter informing me they are unable to honor my request, surprise surprise. I have not heard back on a few more so I will resend more letters to everyone including Cap1. Just thought I would share some success.

How long after your collection was removed did you see a score change?

I recently had a new collection removed and my score has yet to change.

Tim if you are reading can u answer this too?

Congrats! I have one with applied Bank also from the same year lol I disputed but no results maybe I'll try a GW also. Would you be kind enough to share address? please pm me.

This is the right time of the year to do this as (most) people seem to get into the Holiday spirit early

jaybee I pulled my report today form EQ because I saw it gone off of EX and score was there 20 pts higher.
