What CC Co. checks Experian?

Im looking to get a prime cc. Experian is 660 (my highest score, so far).

I already have an Orchard Bank MC and a HSBC Visa.

I want a Discover or Amex card. Does anyone know if they check only experian?

Amex nearly exclusively checks Experian. I RARELY see accounts with equifax or transunion. I would say (and I feel very comfortable with this figure) 99.99% of accounts are from Experian.

Thank you for your response. Wamu sends me pre-approvals at least once a week. But I Hear they're Providian Bank now. Don't wanna deal with them anymore.

Most CC companies have gone to Experian, which sucks for me. I received the AMEX Skymiles CC with a 665 EX score, so your score is right in line with what mine was.

I am not sure about Discover. I have heard of people getting the CC with lower scores than you, and I have heard of them not getting a CC with a higher score.

I think Chase checks EX a lot.

No problem. And also...don't request a loc increase or ask for large charging if you're getting a charge card within 60 days of establishing the account because I guarantee you someone will pull a hard copy of your CBR...IN ADDITION to the cbr they already pulled to get the account in the first place.

EX is pulled for Patelco CU, Bank of America, and Amex about 90% of time. Discover about half the time, Chase about one-third. And store cards via WFNNB (Ann Taylor, Victoria's Secret, etc.) about 100% of time.

Amex reviews only my Experian report. My TransUnion report shows many "Promotional Inquiries (I don't have a Discover account)" made by Discover Financial Services, LLC. I live in Florida.
