No relation whatsoever to the TrueCredit FAKO's.

TrueCredit is fine for daily pulls of your credit reports, so that you can see when things post, if someone is messing around in your credit, etc. Equifax displays a little weird, but it's mostly there. I use TrueCredit, and it's perfectly good for this purpose.

But the scores that TC gives, and the scores you get from other credit monitoring services, and from Experian and TransUnion themselves, are not FICO's. (Which is why we call them FAKO's.) No one knows why they bother to create them, but they confuse the heck out of a lot of people. Also, if you follow some of the advice that they give, you can really trash your FICO's.

For about a month recently, my TC FAKO's were EQ 721 - TU 660- EX 644 . As you can see below, no comparison at all.

For me, TC works perfectly well as a REPORT-monitoring service. When I see a big change, or something finally post that I've been working on, then I cough up $$$ for the real things. But as far as I'm concerned, they can take off the scores tab and toss it.

I need some info please. I've subscribed to TrueCredit for about 4 months to monitor my credit and hopefully chart my FICO scores. But the TC reports do not seem to reflect the true FICO scores.

It seems that TransUnion is the only consumer friendly reporting service of the three with real time movement trends but the other two EQ and EF have not responded at all to my credit repair letters.

My question is, how close, up or down, are the real FICO scores to this TC bloodsucker.

Yes, it is a scam. Just like Free credit report.com

Only use Equifax or myfico to get scores.

Thanks for the 'heads up' regarding the real scores vs. the dummy ones. It's odd but when you consider that TrueCredit is a product of TransUnion, there is no correlation between the two, and the scores are no where close to each other.

I don't know what's worse....being scam'ed and knowing it or being scam'ed and not having a clue.

Yep, Equifax is the ONLY credit bureau where you can get FICO's directly from them. Their score watch product is the same as myFICO's.

All the other scores are pretty much a waste of printer ink.
