Hi,

I have three Inquirys from Cap 1 reporting as delinquent account. I started paying back in Oct.before i found this forum.

Are they allowed to keep posting inquirys? I paying NCO Financial , not them.

I would dispute it. You're not applying for credit however...people in collections department can pull your credit report to look for the most recent time you have applied for credit in an attempt to get an updated phone number or address or other information. They can do so legally.

No problem. Remember, "permissible cause" to access your reports. They do to try and collect the money you owe them.

But you ARE protected to a certain degree. They can't pull more than three reports within a certain amount of time. I think it's a month, but I may be wrong. I should research the matter further. I was doing some cross-training the collections area at amex and was given this information.
