CRAs different removal dates

Can someone tell me why different CRA have different dates for items falling off of the credit report. I have a collection account that came off EX in DEC 07. Trans in Jan 08 and EQ in march 1 08. What is up with this? When I disputed this account with EQ it took forever to get a desicision and when I was given on the set the removal date back 2 months from the original Jan 08 date. Any explanations would be accepted. Thanks.

When you figure this out let me know-

I know EQ uses DOLA -

FCRA says 7 years after DOFD.
You should have left the EQ alone- It probably would have been removed Dec 1.

One possibility is that the CA reported to each CRA at different months for the same account.

For DW EQ used DOFD minus 3 months and 10 days
