Ford Credit...

One baddie with Ford in 2003. Car was paid off about 4 years ago. Should I go for it and ask for a gw removal?????????

I no longer have an account #...what's the way to go about this?

You may be able to call and have them look it up by your addy and dob, and last resort, social. But one baddie, 4-5 years old, I can't imagine the jump you'll get when it gets removed.

I had a car financed by Mazda Credit, which is owned by Ford. I did not have much luck in getting it removed.

My DH and I had 2 30 days reporting from 12/02 and 1/03 I sent a GW and they replied that their record only indicated 1 30 and they would update to say so. When they did they removed both lates and listed paid as agreed. It wont hurt to send one what can happen they say no and it's still there or they remove it what are you out but a postage stamp.

Watch out, though-

I had the opposite happen. I asked, very kindly, I thought, if they could please GW a late or two for me (3 total). I received a letter saying no, and in fact, it looks like you have one that wasn't reported, so we'll report this one, too!. So far, I don't see it, and hope I don't.

And I was SO hoping to finance another Ford...maybe play on their sympathies a little bit during the holiday season? Worth a try!

So I guess no one's had any luck? I sent them a goodwill letter and did mention that I would be buying another car soon & would be looking at Fords...SO GOOD LUCK TO BOTH OF US.
