First Premier is GARBAGE

So I am trying to REFI and I have hit a small snafu. One account is showing as late since a BK in 2005. First Premier reported me as 30 days late in 2006. I called today and they told me I was late in May of 2006. I have had the card for over two years now and said there must be some problem and they proceeded to tell me there was nothing they could do. I am going to have to wait anothe 6 months for this thing to age to 2 years since being reported to be able to complete my REFI.

I am so pissed right now. They lost my payment and I am the one being grilled. A dang 15 dollar payment is going to kick me where the good lord split me. And it ain't even my fault. I swear.

Now this is funny because as I read your post I see I have a new message from Yahoo...it's First Premier inviting me to apply...thanks for the 'heads up' .

Keep trying though..the next person may say yes.

You have disputed? Did they ever acknowledge anything about the lost payment or do you have any ammo to support it?

I don't have crap to prove it.

I did a PFB complaint. I have also contacted some number I found to some bigwig that is supposed to be able to MAYBE be the one to change it.

I have actually been happy with my account with them. Yes, it is a subprime card, but they were there when I needed to start over and I did get a CLI the other day so I am crossing my fingers (and my eyes still...).

We'll see.

FP was one of the first cl's I got after my bk discharged in Aug 2007. I just paid them in full and closed the account today because every time I paid I paid $11 to ensure it was credited on time and I now have good cl's with others and don't have to pay $7.00 maintenance fees. I think there CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A JOKE and the CARD IS CRAP!!!! Just my opinion.

My current cl's are as follows:

Cap 1 Visa - $500

Cap 1 MC - $300

Household Bank - $300

Hooters - $1000

Bestbuy MC - $300

Direct Rewards - $300

NFCU LOC - $1500

NFCU personal loan - $500

PenAir FCU - $500

Scores are : TU: 492 (can't seem to get this one to move)

EX: 596

EQ: 602
