TC are FAKO?

I saw that cobra said that truecredit scores are FAKO scores...i thought I"ve read many times on this forum that those are real FICO scores and that allot of people subscribe to them..I"M CONFUSED.....

Help me understand as I have subscribed to it and don't want to waste my money!!

About 90% of lenders use FICO scores available from MyFICO.

TC are FAKO scorees.

Thanks..I do know about my fico and have bought my scores...but you cannot monitor them on myfico for the same or close to price for true credit, correct? is that the reason that true credit is only 14.95 per month?

I though i read it over and over on these boards that true credit were the real FICO scores....

HELP!!! I'm about to have to renew and dont want to if its a waste of time!

TC is FAKO. It is useful for being able to pull all 3 of your reports once a day. But it is not useful for providing an accurate FICO. My real FICO scores are nearly 100 points higher than my TC FAKO scores.

Julia is right --TC is great for reports, useless for scores. And the advice they give is worse than useless, as it can be very damaging to your FICO's if followed.

If you happen to find a post saying that TC has FICO's, could you pm me with it? Usually what I see are posters saying that they know that they aren't FICO's, but they're watching them in the belief that they somehow mirror FICO's.

There was a period about 3 or 4 weeks into serious learning about credit where my brain just turned to goo, and everything becomes a horrible, jumbled mess. It took a while to sort everything out, and every now and then, a couple of synapses still go sproing on me!
