      <description>&lt;DIV&gt;GW letters go to anyone you have settled an account with that are still reporting.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;You can GW individual lates or ask that the entire TL be removed if it is very bad.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;DVs go only to CAs by CMRRR.&amp;nbsp; There is a modified type of DV that you can send to an OC to request substantiating information and documentation on the debt.&amp;nbsp; OCs are not legally obligated to respond in a DV fashion.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Disputes go to the CRAs.&amp;nbsp; You can dispute online, by mail, or by phone.&amp;nbsp; Some take FAXs.&amp;nbsp; Most people recommend snail mail CMRRR.&lt;/DIV&gt;</description>
