Help with CA

Before coming to this forum, I paid 3 accounts off with Receivable Recovery Services, L.L.C.

I paid the accounts 08/2006

When I called to pay the account over the phone on my debit card, I was told that this would be deleted from my credit file (DID NOT KNOW TO GET IT IN WRITING). Upon pulling my credit in November 2007 the collections are still listed.

I called the collection agency back in November and was told that it would be removed immediately. I disputed with Equifax - it came back as verified. So, I sent a letter certified with return receipt to the collection agency and they have yet to respond.

Can anybody advise what to do next???? - Anybody have an email or fax number for them???

How did you dispute ?

Online or in writing?

What reason did you dispute as- "TL agreed to be deleted"

or "Sent to collections by mistake"

You can also send a MOV to the CRA.

Disputed as not mine.

I am going to fax Equifax tomorrow for MOV.

I read on an tread earlier about FRCA - regarding the MOV but I can't seem to find that again. Any idea where to look??

Ask them to mail you a letter agreeing to delete.

I did ask the person that I spoke with to send me confirmation of this back in November, when I received this, I sent that person a certified letter, still nothing.

Any suggestions?
