So, I just got my 3 credit reports and scores in accordance with my timeline for mortgage pre-approval. My EQ has dropped almost 100 points because all the things I worked my butt off to remove from my account (that belong to another girl with my name down in CA) are all over my report again. In fact, I had more of her accounts (including all 4 of her collections) than my own on my report!

ARGH!!! Sometimes it feels like its just never ending.....

BTW, her $6000 in delinquent unpaid medical bills are what got me denied for a secured card a year and a half ago, and I'm pretty sure this whole fiasco was what got me denied for a CLI request to my bank two months ago. Do you guys think there is a way for me to request a review of that request from my bank wihout them doing another hard pull?

Tara....this kind of crap cost us a house as well! 4 years ago our mortgage was declined because his score was 530.....pulled the cr and my eyes about fell out of my head.

Account after account, not ours. Things belonging to our son on his report. There were tons of inquiries.

These things were cleared up and his scores soared into the high 600's, but they took time AND cost us this home.

Very disappointing. Funny thing from one of the agencies...this crap kept coming back 'verified'. I think it took about 4 months to get it straightened out.

Everything was great...then someone with the same name filed bk...ended up on his report...sigh...
