Are ca allowed to continue adding late fees after purchasing a dept from the original creditor

It depends and their is a wide opinion on this-

While I thought a CA can add the same fees that were apart of the original contract- seems this is not the case-

As soon as the account is charged-off late fees should stop - interest will continue to grow, and collection fees apart of your original contrat may apply.

The late fees should stop when the account is charged off (at the 90 to 180 days post DODF)

19..............No, but they can, and do , charge interest.
