credit report

I have a problem. I have belong to a debt management program for a year. Everything is great with the exception of one thing. I recently went to my fico and on my record it showed that I was over 30 days past due on two accounts with Bank of America for 3 separate months that CBDC was in charge of. I phoned and they told me that the first request had been denied and that it was approved the following month. What I didnt know was that the difference between the minimum due and the approved amount was still considered delinquent and for the next 2 months it was. My problem is that on my monthly statement under past due 0 is written. So my question is how do I get this red flag removed from my record? I could use all the help I can get because I really dont know who to contact. Thanks Tina

I would make your DMP reps take care of it!! Once you turn things over to them...they are supposed to keep things in order for you. If he/she doesn't help...go to their boss!! and so on!

Good Luck!

hmmmm. Did they tell you when it was approved? Because it sounds as though they are passing the buck! If they sent in a proposal to your ccc and the ccc denied it, then you should have been contacted so you could make a pymt!! Were you contacted? If not, then throw a fit!

They may have said "in your signed contract that you are responsible for pymts until approval" how are you supposed to know you have been approved right away or months down the road? They need to keep in touch with you every month!

Did they EXPLAIN this to you, or is it in "the fine print" of the contract?

Message Edited by sunrise on 01-14-2008 01:49 PM
