Well I didn't even get to log in on TC. I got so frustrated with them today and canceled my account before I even got to see it. Couldn't log in and the customer service was unbelievably horrible. I'm surprised they canceled my account because I had to call 4 times today. Just a learning experience. I will stick with myfico for all my needs at this time.

So I'm still a new guy around here but I have quickly begun to be addicted to this place! I can't see my scores every day, which irritates me to no end. Unless of course I buy them. Does anyone buy there scores every day or every few days if you have changes to your credit? I am not using my cc accounts much these days because I want my scores to go up. So am I just being really **bleep** retentive at the moment with all this stuff?? Help sway me one way or another into what I really should be doing here. I really want to keep track of my CR and FICO scores but I don't think I can at the expense of it costing me a lot of money by buying them every few days. thx

Unless you are fine tuning scores for a major purchase- there is no need to pay for scores more than once a quarter.

I have SW and Credit Secure (for daily monitoring)

You are not alone in this - seeing a FICO boost is just as good as seeing an "Approved" -

well my dw and i are looking to buy this summer hopefully, fingers crossed....but i just want to keep up with what is being reported....

so there are other resources to get a CR but not your FICO? interesting....so they are called FAKO? i'm assuming because they are "fake" scores.

what are the web sites i should consider?
do they give you real info as far as what is being reported? or is that fake too?

how much do the numbers differ from the real FICO numbers? it probably varies but just thought i'd ask.

thx for the help guys!

don't we have a MYFICO Addicts group yet? lol

Yep- FAKOs are fake scores. My FAKO is a full 100 points higher than my FICOs, some people have lower FAKO than FICO.

So pretty much, if you want a range, the fakos are ok, other than that, not really. As far as I know, noone sees the FAKO score except the CRA and you.

so hey, i just called TC and had to "pass" a few security questions before i could receive my info....so i will log in again to see if it worked....odd but i understand the precautions...don't want to have someone just pretending to be you....

i guess i'll give it a go for now and see what this does....having an extra layer of information in trying to get my scores up and following my CR will hopefully help me achieve my goals....

Have you tried calling their CS? I have TC and SW. I have yet to have a problem with TC. If you feel like you want to look at a score look at those and see how they decline or not. These are not real scores so do not think they are, as everyone else has stated, but most of the time when those go up you know your FICO scores are possibly going up or down.

My FAKOS or up to 86 pts less than my FICOS.
