Several of the non mainstream carriers don't check CR and are good if you stay in your home calling area like cricket wireless and alltel.

I'm in SC suncom has plans where they don't check credit. however the plan I have with them required a check. They checked TU. I really have to give it up to suncom. Our bill never changes unless we download ringtones or call 411.

if you are going to suncom you better do it fast bc t mobile just bought them out.

Anybody know about US Cellular? I'm in the Midwest and am torn between USC and AT&T. I will probably go with whomever pulls EQ, to be safe.

I take it the Sero plan is from Sprint? I have had Nextel for about four years and loved it up until the point that Sprint took over. I hate them. Their customer service sucks hard. I will go on a pre-pay plan b4 I go with Sprint.

It doesn't look like Alltel inq'd me at all. Although I am disapointed with the rates, most of that has to do with the tax/other garbage that gets tacked on and makes my $79.99 plan more like $99.99. Have had good luck with their service when I needed it.

WiWend, I looked online at Alltel and when I input my zip, they told me that no phones are available for my area (suburban Milwaukee). Sux 4 me.

No problem! I use T-Mobile. As a matter of fact, there USA HQ is also less than 15 min from my home. So, if someone pisses me off enough I will just drive down and cause a big ol' stink on the local news.

Fact be known, one time I did promise a support rep to come down and sit in front of their corporate office in just my underwear unless they removed a late fee on my account. Suffice to say, the rep gladly removed it after talking to a superviosr.

Nice. I am the same distance from Verizon headquarters. They have a collection account for $130 on my land line listed in January on a balance that I paid last June. Get this, Verizon applied the wrong code, and still tried to blame me, fighting me the whole way.

It's amazing how nice and responsive employees became after I faxed a 3 page letter to the President of Verizon Telcom in Basking Ridge NJ.

I do not wish to subject Verizon employees to the abuse of me in underwear, albeit deserved.
