Does anyone have a phone number that I can actually talk to a real person at Experian? I have a letter from a creditor that states they are reporting the date of last activity incorrectly and they just keep on validating the debt. Thanks

Experian 800-493-1058. The number is also on their site. You will need an Experian credit report number to get through I believe. If you have already done a dispute, you have the credit report number. Choose dispute, then live person.

I went through this yesterday. They are rude people. To get the report number you have to go through the motions of filing a dispute. Then give them that report number (on credit report dispute form) when you call. I never filed the dispute, just logged out when done. But the report number got my foot in the door finally.
