About to Send Out DVs and PFDs--Need HElp

All,

I'm still trying to find out exactly to whom I should address my DVs and PFDs. The Collection Info on MyFico reports only indicates the name of the agency and the last 4 digits of my account numbers. The 3 collections I have are all "surprise" ones, as mail did not get forwarded to my new address a few years ago when I moved.

Do I just send the letters to the general address for the CAs without addressing it to a specific person?

Can I find out my full account numbers without calling the CAs?

I'd like to send out my letters on Monday, so any help that you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

No need to call the CA - Your name and the partial form your CR should be all they need...

PS - remember only type your name (don't sign).

Keith always know what your SOL is before doing anything with your CR. IF within SOL be ready to pay!

If past SOL or you are ready to pay.....send a DV CMRRR

A simple dispute can start the ball rolling.

Thanks for the info! One of the collections has been pulled back from the CA by the OC (I called them, they sent me a letter saying they would pull the account from the CA, and I paid them. They say it could take 60-90 days to drop off my report, so I thought I'd just DV the CAs and see if I can get it deleted sooner.

Another collections looks to be an error. I have another collection account with that same OC, and when I called to verify the "fraudulent" account, the OC told me point blank that they only have the one account on record. The second collection account is bogus. I'm going to DV that one--which should delete it from my records.

The third account I'm going to try a PFD and see what happens. It's still within the SOL (and it's only $113), so I'll see what happens.

I have an address for NCO (which is one of my CAs) in Pennsylvania. I live in Seattle. Is there an address for them closer to WA?
