Question about LVNV

I am new to credit repair and have a few questions - I have read these forums for several days, but would like to clarify a couple of things I am still unsure about. I would really appreciate if someone could answer my questions, or point me in the right direction.

I have a charge off account with CityAuto that is showing last payment in 02/2002. It has a zero balance and was sold to LVNV. I have made no payments on this account since 02/2002. LVNV is showing date opened 09/2006, date of last activity 12/2006 and is showing it as an installment account and showing in on my CR as 90+ days late every month since 12/2006.

My question is: shouldn’t the CityAuto account drop of my CR in 2009? And after that is dropped off, can LVNV continue reporting it? Is there anything I can do about LVNV reporting it 90+ days late. They are outright lying about every thing they are reporting, except possibly when they bought the account. From what I have read here, that seems to be common practice with them.

I would be more than willing to PIF for PFD, but from what I have read here, LVNV doesn’t go for that. I am also afraid of getting it stuck on my CR for another 7 years if they don’t PFD and I PIF.

From what I gather the SOL in Texas (4 years) is long past on the original acct, so I don‘t think they can sue me. Can someone please suggest a plan of action to go from here. I am willing to let it age off in 2009, if that is when is will drop off.

Any help will be GREATLY APPRECIATED.

First it will drop off your CR 7 years from DOFD so will the CA reporting!

Keep all hard copies of your CR forever!!! This is your proof to show CRAs if they ever start reporting again.

Look at your EX and TU report it should say *will remain on CR until month/2009.......nothing changes this date!!! EQ will use DOLA make sure that the date that they CA is showing them is 2/2002.

You are past SOL......DV the CA CMRRR before disputing the CRAs
