Currently, EX: 671, EQ: 650, TU:595 (all from 2/28)

Here is what I have:

TU:

Derog accounts:

Verizon, "in collections" ($93)

Verizon, "in collections" ($52)

Some lates on a Utility that I plan to send a GW letter - I think this is my biggest hit from them since it is not listed on the others.

Collections:

Cavalry Portfolio ($366) - Says for Cingular but I am current with Cingular, might be an old AT&T account since it says last activity 8/2001 which is before I switched to Cingular. There is nothing for this amount listed in the "Accounts" section.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

EX:

Accounts:

BofA (old MBNA) charge off, last activity 4/2003, last updated 11/2003

Verizon (same as TU)

Verizon (same as TU)

Collections:

Cavalary (same as above)

Hilco Receivables (says from the MBNA account, but the amount is different)

----------------------------------------------------------------------

EQ:

Accounts:

Verizon (same as the others)

Verizon (same as the others)

Collections:

Cavalry (same as the others)

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ok, I "borrowed" the DV letters I found here for Verizon and for Cavalry and plan to send them out CMRRR on Monday. I doubt Cavalry can verify since if it is from the old AT&T account in 2001 they probably won't have the info.

For Verizon I just wanted to see if they can verify since I really am not sure what it is - I figure I will find out and then can go for a paid delete (heck for $145 I just want it GONE!).

Now my real question is what to do about the BofA and Hilco. Should I do anything or just let them roll off in the next few years.

I read somewhere that you can dispute with the CRA if the information is not on the other CRA reports - I don't want to open a can of worms...

Take care of the Veriizon collections as it is affecting all of your scores. On the Cavalry one, what is the fall off date listed on your crpts. If this year it is up to you if you let it fall off. You still owe the money but it will not affect scores once it falls off. Also what is SOL on the account.

The Hilco and BofA probably have different amounts because Hilco is charging interest since they bouht account. Send them a DV letter. Make them prove that they have a right to collect on the account. Once you find out that they own the account deal with them and send BofA a GW letter asking them to remove account from file. It will fall off after 7 yrs anyway.

The fall off date for Cavalry is 5/2012 - the last active date is 2001 and since I didn't have Cingular in 2001 (I did have AT&T) I assume it is that - but I don't know why (mistake?). So I'll send them the DV letter.

Both the Hilco and the BofA are set to fall off 2/2010 - I may DV but I'm thinking maybe I'm better off not doing anything since they will be gone in 2yrs.

I'm going to deal with the Verizon stuff first - again not really sure the deal but I'd be happy to PFD and be done with it - just not worth the hassle (and FICO hit) for such a small amount. Are they generally good to deal with?

For SOL does it go by the state where the account was opened, the state where the default occured or the current state of residence?

It won't be seven years until Sep., so it can fall off anytime after Sep up until 180 days after that.

For whatever reason EQ codes CAs like that on the myfico reports. Is this the one that you said wasn't yours? If yours, find out the DOFD, before fiddling around with it.
