What is a GW letter? Does anyone have an example?

I have seen some people talking about a GW letter and wondered what this was. I have not heard of this. I do know what the PFD letters are and I have sent out a couple of those.

GW = Good Will. Like asking them for a favor. There are templates on this forum to use.

Where do I find the templates for the GW letter?
