Charge off questions

Looking at my credit report... most of my Collections and 1 charge will be falling off in mid 2009... so that a good year but.... I have a 2006 account that went to charge off and have been reporting lates 120 days and 90 and 30's up to 2007. So.. my question is when does this charge off/latest start to become a less inpact on my score? 2006+2year or the last late 2007+2years?

A CO will hurt until it drops!!!! approx 7 years from DOFD even if paid

I had one drop after the 7 years & scores increase over 50 points

got date wrong... but say it drop off 5/2011 =(

so next year ill only have 1 CO and rest of my baddies will disappear... I should be able to get some good CC next year? 1 CO shouldnt be that damaging.

I want Citi and Amex next year ;p

Another question you should be asking yourself is how many GOOD accounts you have.

Having three or four revolving charge accounts with low balances in good standing will help those old baddies age a lot more quickly.

I now got 4 CC account and 1 Store account and 1 Auto Loan and 1 Student Loan... heh

This month I have my 2 CC at 10$ each and im lowering my 3rd card but it at 250$... and 4th is new so no balance
