Good Lenders in Illinois?

I am in the Western suburbs of Chicago and was wondering if anyone had any mortgage broker/banker recommendations. My realtor recommended me to a Wells Fargo loan officer, but I am skeptical because of all the horror stories I have read here. I bank with PNC so I guess they could be an option, but also have not read great reviews about them either. I am looking into a FHA loan due to low downpayment and so/so credit if that matters at all. Any advice or referrals would be greatly appreciated!

Idk if I can mention any specific brokers on the threads but I have an AWESOME broker downstate IL and I'm going FHA. If you'd be interested I can PM the info....

I am in the Western suburbs of Chicago as well, and have an awesome motgage guy located not too far from you. PM me and I'll pass on the information. Very straight forward and direct. 15+ years in the business. Knows FHA and IDA programs. Suggested I ask for a credit at closing so the seller's will cover a significant part of the closing costs. Just a straight up, professional kind of guy.
